Lynnial Trusty has over 20 years of experience in contract management and procurement roles. Lynnial started their career in the U.S. Air Force as a Senior Contract Specialist, responsible for evaluating and awarding bids for service and construction contracts. They then moved on to the Bureau of Reclamation, working as a Contracting Officer negotiating terms and conditions for supplies, services, and construction projects in the Great Plains states. Lynnial then joined the Bureau of Land Management as the Deputy Chief of Contracting, supervising a team of Contracting Officers and handling day-to-day operational tasks. Following that, Lynnial served as the Director of Contracting at the Veterans Health Administration, providing procurement support to 8 medical facilities and 37 outpatient clinics. Currently, Lynnial holds the position of Director of Contracts & Strategic Sourcing at the Bonneville Power Administration, where they oversee the contracting needs of the organization, including transmission line maintenance, substations, and fish & wildlife programs.

Lynnnial Trusty has a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Chapman University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. From 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Master's degree in Acquisitions Management from American Graduate University. Lynnial then completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Program Management from American Graduate University between 2007 and 2009. In addition, they hold an Associates Degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management from the Community College of the Air Force, earned from 2001 to 2004. Lynnial Trusty also possesses a Level III Federal Acquisition Certification and a Masters Certification in Management, although the month and year of obtaining these certifications are unspecified.
