Michelle Mizumori Cathcart

Michelle Mizumori Cathcart is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as VP of Generation Asset Management and VP of Transmission System Operations at Bonneville Power Administration since August 2016, Michelle has held various leadership roles, including Director of Strategy and Organizational Performance and Director of Operations at Peak Reliability from January 2014 to August 2016. Previously, Michelle worked at the Western Electricity Coordinating Council (WECC) in several capacities, including Director of Reliability Coordination and Managing Director of Operations and Market Interface, where key contributions included oversight of operations, development of FERC filings, and compliance efforts. Michelle's career began at Madison Gas and Electric Company as Energy Markets Coordinator, focusing on market development and contract analysis. Academically, Michelle holds an MBA from Washington State University, a PhD in Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in Engineering from Swarthmore College.
