Ross Wesson

Ross Wesson CFA is an accomplished entrepreneur and finance professional with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. As the Owner of Strafer Ventures since January 2014, Wesson has played a vital role in supporting innovation and business development. Co-founding DEFT Dynamics in January 2015, Wesson contributed to the creation of a "Startup Studio" that fosters collaboration between engineers and entrepreneurs to launch tech startups. Additional co-founding efforts include MOXIE IoT, which specializes in rapid IoT solutions for various businesses, and APEX Pro LLC. Wesson has also served in advisory capacities for Brigand Arms LLC and has a background as an analyst at Minot Capital and Arlington Partners. Wesson holds a double major in Economics and Finance along with a Philosophy minor from The University of Alabama.
