Mircea Strugaru

Mircea Strugaru has extensive work experience in engineering and operations roles. Mircea is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Bonterra, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, Mircea worked at Trilogy from 2018 to 2023, where they started as the VP of Engineering and later became the SVP of Engineering and Operations. During their time at Trilogy, Mircea played a key role in standardizing the delivery process for all 50+ products and building a Maintenance subsystem powered by 100+ engineers, resulting in significant improvements in efficiency and productivity. Before joining Trilogy, Mircea worked at Crossover from 2015 to 2019, where they held the position of VP of Engineering. In this role, they played a crucial role in building a fully remote workforce and scaling the company's operations. Prior to Crossover, Mircea worked at Alcatel-Lucent from 2008 to 2015, where they held various leadership positions in R&D, including R&D Director and R&D Domain Lead. Mircea also worked at Caatoosee AG as the Head of Software Development Department from 2000 to 2004 and at Object Vision Ltd as a Software Development Engineer in 2000. Mircea has a strong background in software development, project management, and team leadership.

Mircea Strugaru obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universitatea "Politehnica" din Timișoara in 2000. Mircea then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing it in 2000 as well.
