Anneke Oppewal

Anneke Oppewal currently serves as Program Manager and Executive Assistant to the COO at Book Harvest, beginning in October 2023, where responsibilities include growing relationships with public schools and educators to enhance community partnerships and developing strategies for new school collaborations to promote literacy. Prior to this role, Anneke worked as a Spanish Teacher and Coordinator at Orange County Schools from August 2015 to June 2023, and as a Middle School Teacher at Student U from May 2013 to August 2014, focusing on English language arts and facilitating parent communication. Anneke Oppewal holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (World Language K-12) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Hispanic and Latin American Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from the same institution.
