Caitlin Georgas

Caitlin Georgas currently serves as the Associate Director of Early Literacy at Book Harvest, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Caitlin worked as a Community Alignment Specialist at Family Connects Durham from August 2019 to March 2024 and as an Adolescent Parenting Program Social Worker for the Orange County (N.C.) Government between December 2012 and July 2019. Earlier experience includes positions as a Home Evaluator and Foster Care Case Manager at Arrow Child and Family Ministries from May 2010 to July 2012, and as a Residential Case Manager at City House, Inc. from February 2009 to May 2010. Caitlin's career began with service as a Community and Youth Development Volunteer in the Peace Corps from September 2006 to October 2008. Caitlin holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Texas Christian University.
