Alana Durand, LMSW

Alana Durand, LMSW has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2015, they started their career at EDWARD CONDON MEDICAL, P.C as an Office Administrator. Alana then moved on to work as a Trauma Counselor at Urban Justice Center's Domestic Violence Project. In 2016, they worked as a Forensic Social Worker at FEDERAL DEFENDERS OF NEW YORK, INC. In 2017, they transitioned to Astor Services for Children & Families where they served as a Child and Family Therapist. From 2018 to 2019, they held the position of Associate Psychotherapist at ME Therapy, LLC. Alana also worked as the Chief of Staff to Co-Founders at Optimist Consulting during this time. In 2019, they joined NextRoll, Inc. (formerly AdRoll Group) as a Workplace Coordinator. In 2020, they became a Psychotherapist at Brooklyn Integrative Psychology, PLLC and additionally took on the role of MSW Intern Supervisor. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at Robinhood as a Manager in Workplace Operations + Real Estate, as well as in Board Relations. Currently, Alana Durand is working at HelloFresh as the Manager of Workplace Operations on the East Coast.

Alana Durand, LMSW has a diverse education background. In 2004, they received their Regents Diploma from Kings Park High School. Alana then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies at Northeastern University from 2009 to 2014.

In 2013, Alana took part in the Holistic Wellness Practice program at the Bali Institute for Global Renewal, further enhancing their expertise in this field. Alana later enrolled in the Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) - Accelerated Program at New York University, completing their degree in 2017. During this time, they also obtained their Licensed Master of Social Work certification.

Continuing their commitment to continuous learning, Alana acquired additional certifications such as Construction Management Foundations and Essential Lessons for First-Time Managers in 2021 through LinkedIn.
