Dana A. is a Senior Product Designer at Book of the Month since 2023. Prior to this, they were a UI/UX and Product Designer at King from 2021 to 2023, where they contributed to the design of all aspects of Candy Crush Royalty, a web-based loyalty program for Candy Crush Saga players, generating over $6m since launch in 2020. Dana led a program redesign from concept to launch that implemented a new tiered structure and Candy Jar feature, increasing member satisfaction by 71% and daily engagement by 100%. From 2019 to 2021, they were a freelance, self-employed UI/UX Designer, delivering responsive websites and marketing materials for clients from various industries. From 2017 to 2019, they were a UI/UX Designer at MetaX, where they acted as the sole designer on the team, establishing brand guidelines, launching marketing materials and two updated websites, and leading product research and enhancement as the company pivoted from B2C blockchain-based products to a B2B data platform for advertising agencies. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Design Lead and Founding Board Member at Rabbit Hole Network, a woman-powered blockchain community. Dana A. completed their Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of California, Los Angeles between 2014 and 2018. Dana then went on to attend Designlab, where they obtained certificates in Branding, UX Interaction Design, and UI Design in February, November, and September 2019 respectively.
