David Muir

David Muir has worked in various roles since 1989. In 1989, they worked as a Technical Writer at Bramalea Limited. From 1992 to 2009, they worked in various roles at IBM, including Manager, Information Development Technology, Strategy & Development, Manager, and Information Developer (Technical Writer). In 2009, they became the Principal Consultant of David Muir and Associates, providing communications consulting services. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Sales Representative at Royal LePage Your Community Realty. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a ScrumMaster® and Technical Writer at Microdea Inc. and from 2019 to present, they have been working at Book4Time Inc. as a Product Owner, Associate Product Manager, Business Analyst, and Technical Writer, revamping the help system of Book4Time, migrating from Robohelp and Zendesk to Madcap Flare and consolidating all the online help onto one secure platform, as well as improving and managing the release notes process and producing tutorial and announcement overlays using the Pendo guide system.

David Muir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Studies and Philosophy from Trent University and a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Radio & TV Arts from Ryerson University. David also holds a Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in October 2017.
