Emmi Tamminen has a diverse work experience in various industries. Emmi started their career in 2007 as a Summer Employee at Muumimaailma Oy, where they worked in customer service and basic food preparation. From 2008 to 2012, they worked as a Kitchen Assistant at Sunborn Group, where they were responsible for dishwashing and basic food preparation tasks.

In 2013, Emmi did a two-month internship as a Marketing Intern at LOGOMO, a prominent cultural center and event house in Finland.

In 2012, they started working as a Cook at Sunborn Group during the summers until 2014. In this role, they handled advanced food preparation, dishwashing, and cooking menu items for private events.

From 2014 to 2018, Emmi worked at TravelBird, initially as a Marketing / Web Editor Intern. Emmi then became a Web Editor, where they wrote content for the Finnish website and started the TravelBird Stories blog. In 2015, they were promoted to Team Lead Web Editing, overseeing a team's success and collaborating with different departments to increase growth.

From 2018 to 2020, Emmi worked at JD Sports Fashion plc as a Content Executive Nordics, where they managed projects and campaigns for various international markets. Emmi quickly earned a promotion to Senior Content Executive, taking on additional responsibilities such as global alignment projects and new market launches.

Currently, Emmi Tamminen is employed at BookBeat since 2020 as a Content Performance Specialist. Their role involves optimizing content performance and ensuring its success in the senior position they hold since 2023.

Emmi Tamminen attended Turku University of Applied Sciences from 2011 to 2016 where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Digital Marketing Communication. In 2014, they also briefly studied at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Planning.
