Virginia Crosa is the current Head of PeopleOps at BookBub. Virginia is responsible for all aspects of the employee experience and company culture, and they lead the company's Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives. Virginia has over 18 years of experience in Human Resources.
Virginia started their career at Forrester, where they spent 14 years in a variety of HR roles, including Vice President of Global Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS, Vice President of Strategic Growth (HR), and Director of Strategic Growth (HR). Virginia was also the Learning & Development Manager and Learning & Development Consultant. During their time at Forrester, Virginia was responsible for designing and leading the company's compensation, benefits, and HR systems initiatives/programs. Virginia also played a key role in several culture initiatives, including a shift from human resources to employee experience, a focus on a performance culture, and a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
In their current role as Head of PeopleOps at BookBub, Virginia is responsible for all aspects of the employee experience and company culture. Virginia is also responsible for executing all core HR and operational activities, such as recruiting, payroll, benefits, office space, etc. Virginia has been in their current role for 4 years and 6 months.
Virginia C. Crosa attended Babson College and earned their MBA in Organizational Development and Finance, graduating summa cum laude in 2004. Prior to that, they attended Middlebury College where they earned their Bachelor of Arts in English, Psychology, and Education. While at Middlebury College, they were awarded the annual Baldwin Prize, given to the one student who best exemplifies the ideal Middlebury College student based upon scholarship, character, personality, and leadership. Virginia was also a four-year Varsity Women's Soccer Goalkeeper, two-time MVP, and senior year Captain of the team. In addition, they were named to the All-New England Team. Lastly, they served as Treasurer for the Kappa Delta Rho Society.
