Aliza Werner is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience spanning various roles in literacy expertise, curriculum development, and educator training. Currently serving as the Professional Learning & Social Media Manager and Literacy Expert Curation Consultant at Bookelicious, Inc., Aliza focuses on enhancing literacy through inclusive content curation and professional development initiatives. Aliza also works as an Education Consultant for Milwaukee Film and Penguin Random House, creating educational programs aligned with academic standards. With a background as an Elementary and Middle School Teacher in the Glendale-River Hills School District, Aliza emphasizes equity and innovation in the classroom.
