Zack Messer

Zack Messer has worked in the gaming industry for over 15 years. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as an Equity Research Analyst at William O'Neil + Co. Inc. During this period, they analyzed financial data to provide investing and trading tools. From 2008 to 2010, they were a Professional Poker Player, utilizing game theory tactics, mathematics, deductive reasoning, and psychological analysis to exploit opponents weaknesses.

From 2010 to 2013, Zack worked at International Game Technology in various roles. As a Business Development Associate (Interactive Group), they worked closely with the EVP Interactive Group to develop business initiatives and strategies. As a Senior Corporate Strategy Analyst, they constructed comprehensive strategic print books and presentations to the Executives and Board of Directors.

From 2013 to 2018, Zack was at Pinnacle Entertainment, first as a Manager, Corporate Finance & Business Development, and then as Director, Corporate Finance & Business Development. During this period, they were responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing new developments and acquisitions in the gaming sector, including the social casino space. Zack also provided financial modeling and deal support for various transactions.

From 2018 to 2022, Zack worked at Scientific Games, first as Senior Director, Commercial Finance, Gaming Operations and then as Senior Director, Corporate Finance, Strategic Operations. During this period, they oversaw P&L for the largest land based gaming business unit and led financial modeling and strategy for Gaming Operations and bundled gaming deals.

Currently, Zack is the Chief Financial Officer at Boom Entertainment.

Zack Messer attended Occidental College from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
