Stephen Christy has an extensive work experience in the comic book industry, having held various roles at different companies. Stephen started their career at Devil's Due Publishing as the Manager of Development, where they opened the Los Angeles office and supervised the company's IP development pipeline. Stephen also negotiated licensing deals with companies like Hasbro and Capcom.

In 2009, Christy joined Archaia Entertainment as the Director of Development, where they partnered with investors to acquire the company and rebranded it as Archaia Entertainment. Stephen focused on developing high-end original graphic novel content and secured a groundbreaking publishing deal with The Jim Henson Company. During their tenure, Archaia won five Eisner Awards, including back-to-back wins for Best Graphic Novel.

Christy then became the Editor-in-Chief at Archaia Entertainment, where they helped build the company's revenue to $2MM yearly and oversaw their IP development and publishing pipeline. Stephen also played a key role in the merger/acquisition of Archaia by BOOM! Studios. Later, they were promoted to President of Development at BOOM! Studios, where they managed all film and TV production and development for the company's extensive comic book IP catalog. Stephen founded BOOM!'s production company office and secured a first look feature film deal at 20th Century Fox.
