Cathryn Chen

Cathryn Chen is the Founder and General Partner at Radiate Ventures, a venture capital firm established in January 2023, specializing in investments in AI/Deeptech, Next Gen Transportation, and Vertical SaaS companies, utilizing a barbell strategy to target both early and late-stage ventures. In addition to current roles as an investor at various companies, including Boom Supersonic, Stripe, and Solugen, Chen serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at DIH Technology Co. and founded MarketX Ventures in 2015, which focuses on growth and late-stage secondary investments across the US, China, and Southeast Asia. Cathryn Chen's academic background includes a BA in International Relations and Affairs from UCLA, experience at The London School of Economics and Political Science, and an exchange program in International Relations and Management at Fudan University.
