Kayla Bauer

Kayla (Barnett) Bauer, CPA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as the Director of Accounting & Financial Reporting at Boom Supersonic since November 2021, Kayla previously held positions as Independent Accounting Consultant at KEB Ventures, LLC (January 2018 - November 2021) and various roles at MarkWest Energy Partners, L.P. from April 2014 to January 2018, focusing on SEC reporting and technical accounting. Earlier experience includes work at Ernst & Young, where Kayla was involved in financial statement audits and internal control assessments, and internships at both Grant Thornton LLP and Beach Fleischman PC. Kayla holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Arizona.
