René Kmet

René Kmet is a seasoned media professional, currently serving as a Presenter and Reporter at W24 - Das Stadtfernsehen since May 2022, where responsibilities include presenting, reporting, voice acting, editing, and cutting. Prior experience includes a role as a Production Assistant at ORF, supporting live news broadcasting for the "Zeit im Bild" program from November 2015 to September 2018, and serving as a Stage Manager for the "Hollywood in Vienna" concert series. Additional roles include an internship in the entertainment department at ORF from September 2013 to September 2014 and working as an Assistant in Public Relations and Fundraising at Hilfswerk International. René Kmet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre, Film, and Media Studies from the University of Vienna and has furthered education at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
