Bill Holland

Bill Holland is a designer and advisor who has over eight years of experience in the industry. Bill is currently an advisor at Boomtown Accelerators, and they previously held positions at The Greenbrier Companies, Think Company, IHS Markit, The Mindful Careerist, First User Group, and The Art of Delight.

At The Greenbrier Companies, Bill was the Principal Designer and they were responsible for setting the overall design vision and direction for the managed services division. Bill collaborated with the head of product to implement a value-based product strategy. Bill also created and nurtured the organization's new design practice, including a design system with robust UI component and use library and governance model. In addition, they implemented a design-development process and trained development teams to build integrated applications accessible to those with disabilities with WCAG 2.1 conformance.

Before that, Bill was a Design Lead at Think Company where they worked on a variety of projects for clients in different industries. Bill was also a Senior UX Designer at IHS Markit where they worked on designing digital products for the energy sector. In addition, they have experience as a Career Coach and a UX Design Strategist (Consultant).

Bill Holland has a degree in nuclear engineering from the Naval Nuclear Power School. Bill also has a certification from the Scrum Alliance in ScrumMaster.
