Sherry Farrugia is currently an advisor at Boomtown Accelerators. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Operating & Strategy Officer, Pediatric Technology Center at the Georgia Institute of Technology from February 2011 to September 2020. In that role, they were responsible for managing the pediatric research portfolio, which included personalized health, healthcare transformation, medical devices, and nanotechnology. Sherry also worked closely with the institute directors to connect their research with key personnel at Children's and the clinical research team at Emory.
From November 1999 to July 2008, Ms. Farrugia was a partner at Resonate Identity Services. Before that, they served as Vice President of Strategic Planning, Business Development, and Investor Relations at CareCentric from January 1996 to December 1999.
Sherry Farrugia has a BS in Chemistry and Physics from Auburn University and a Certificate in Global Innovation from the University of Oxford.
