Nicky Afro

Nicky Afro is an experienced professional in the music and events industry with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Artist Liaison at Boomtown Fair and a Backline Technician for the band The Specials, Nicky also holds the position of Marketing and Communications Manager at Galang Promotions. Freelancing as a music producer through Wideubz Records since 2001, Nicky has contributed to various projects. Previous roles include Educational Consultant for DV 247 and Internal Quality Assurer and Examiner for music technology courses at NCFE. Nicky has a strong foundation in music production education, having taught young people numerous skills and techniques. Nicky holds a Master of Arts in Events Management from the University of Greenwich and a Bachelor's degree in Media Production from the University of Bedfordshire.
