Ben Andersen-Waine

Ben Andersen-Waine is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Boon since August 2024 and as Advisor and CTO at Stay Nimble since October 2017, Ben focuses on driving technological advancements and skill development in local communities. Previous positions include Principal Data Engineer at Zoopla from March 2022 to September 2024, and Lead Engineer at ZPG, where significant contributions included leading a team in data services and implementing software development methodologies. Ben has also held positions at Armakuni, Flypay, Love Software Limited, Sky Bet, and Stickyeyes, alongside a strong academic background with a BSc Hons in Computing from Leeds Beckett University, where Ben graduated with first-class honors and received recognition for outstanding achievements.
