Korin Westcott is the CEO at BOONE COUNTY INDEPENDENT LIVING INC. Korin has dedicated their career to helping families in need and has a vast amount of experience in the field.
Westcott started their career as a Family Services Worker with Harrison Public Schools in 1996. In this role, they provided assessment, case management, consultation, referrals, transportation, and advocacy to families. Korin helped families identify and overcome barriers to attaining their goals and served as a liaison between students, families, schools, and communities. In 2002, they became a Child & Family Services Worker with Marion County DHS. In this role, they provided in-service education regarding issues relating to child abuse and developed, monitored, evaluated, and reported on program goals and objectives.
Westcott has always been an advocate for families in need. In their current role as CEO at BOONE COUNTY INDEPENDENT LIVING INC, they are able to help even more families by providing them with the resources they need to live independently.
Korin Westcott's educational career began with an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Gavilan College. Korin then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Sciences from San Jose State University. Finally, they earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
