Becky Richards has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Becky started their career as a Staff Nurse at St. Mary's Health System, where they worked in various settings such as ICU, M/S, and newborn nursery. Becky then joined Catholic Healthcare West as a Staff Nurse before moving on to the Neuro-Surgical Care Unit, where they worked as a Staff Nurse II & III. Becky then worked at the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, first as a Staff Nurse III and later as the Manager. During their time there, they focused on patient care and satisfaction, as well as organizing educational symposiums. Becky then held roles at Kaiser Foundation Hospital as Administrative Services Director and later at Kaiser Permanente as the Adult Clinical Services Director. Becky also worked at Kaiser Foundation Hospital-Modesto as an RN, where they built new nursing teams. Becky then joined Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Nursing Administration before transitioning to the California Department of Public Health Services-Licensing and Certification as a Health Facilities Evaluator Nurse. Currently, they are working as the Director of Patient Care Services-ICU, Step-Down, & Respiratory Therapy at Boone Hospital Center.

Becky Richards received a Diploma in General studies from Jefferson City High School in 1971. Becky then pursued a LPN degree in Nursing from Flint Hills Area Vo-Tech School in 1982. Becky went on to complete an AAS degree in Nursing from Lincoln University (MO) in 1986. Becky furthered their education by obtaining a BSN degree in Nursing from California State University-Dominguez Hills, which they completed in 2002. Becky then pursued an MAOM degree in Nursing/Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, which they completed in 2004. Finally, they enrolled as a Doctoral Student in Organizational Leadership and Transformational Management at the University of Phoenix from 2008 to 2014.
