Giovanni Vercammen

Giovanni Vercammen serves as the Chief Energy & Technology Officer at Boortmalt, beginning in November 2023, where the focus is on driving the energy transition towards net zero. Previously, Giovanni held the position of CEO at Wind aan de Stroom from January 2013 to December 2023, overseeing the development of wind energy projects in Antwerp's port area. Giovanni's experience includes roles as Project Manager at Groene Haven Antwerpen, COO for Belgium, France, and Central Europe at Boortmalt from September 2006 to March 2012, General Manager at Accumalux s.a., Site Manager in the Czech Republic for Quinn Plastics, and Project Manager at Barlo Plastics. Education includes a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool and a Master of Science in Safety Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
