Christian Stigen Larsen

Christian Stigen Larsen has had extensive work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Christian Stigen worked at boost.ai as a Principal Python Engineer starting in 2018. Prior to that, they were a Senior software developer at Roxar from 2013 to 2018, where they primarily worked on coding for oil and gas reservoir modeling and analysis using C++ and Python. Christian Stigen also worked at Nortura as an External consultant in business intelligence from 2012 to 2013, Bouvet ASA as a Senior consultant from 2009 to 2013, and Altibox AS as an External consultant in architecture from 2011 to 2012. Other roles include working as an External consultant at Statoil from 2009 to 2012, a Senior software engineer at Unified Messaging Systems from 2000 to 2009, and a Software developer at Fast Search & Transfer in 2000. Their career began as a System administrator at ITEA, NTNU from 1998 to 1999 and as a Consultant and developer at Triangle OGCI from 1998 to 1998. Throughout their various roles, Christian has gained expertise in coding, software development, integration, software architecture, and consultancy, with experience in languages such as Python, C++, T-SQL, and Perl.

Christian Stigen Larsen obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Stavanger, where they studied from 2010 to 2017. Christian Stigen also took individual courses in Accounting and Finance at BI Norwegian Business School in 2015.

In 1996, Christian started pursuing an M.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, and Mathematics ("fysmat") at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). However, they dropped out of the program in 2000.

Christian Stigen Larsen obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in December 2009.
