Joey H.

Joey H. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Starting in 2012, Joey worked as a Program Worker at Carefirst Seniors and Community Services Association, where they collaborated with community partners to deliver patient-centered care. In 2013, Joey interned as a Learning, Research, and Innovation Student at Baycrest, a renowned academic health sciences center focused on brain health and aging.

In 2014, Joey began working at Southlake Regional Health Centre as a Menu Clerk, responsible for delivering healthcare services to communities in the Greater Toronto Area. They also briefly served as a Diet Office Assistant during this time. The following year, in 2016, Joey became a Food Service Supervisor at Humber River Hospital, a leader in healthcare innovation. Here, they contributed to the transformation of the hospital into North America's first fully-digital facility.

Joey joined the University Health Network in 2017 as a Diet Technician and Clinical Nutrition Assistant, supporting research, education, and patient care. In 2019, they transitioned to Complete Purchasing Services Inc., a procurement solutions provider, where they worked as a Menu and Compliance Coordinator, leveraging their expertise in purchasing and operations.

In 2021, Joey became a Product Manager at CloudStorm Ventures, a technology-focused investment firm. They contributed to the development and acceleration of niche technology businesses, particularly MealSuite, an all-in-one foodservice management system for senior living and healthcare facilities.

Most recently, in 2023, Joey joined Boosted.ai as a Project Manager and Scrum Master, applying their skills in project management and Agile methodologies to support the company's objectives.

Throughout Joey's work experience, they have demonstrated adaptability, a commitment to healthcare and wellness, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

Joey H. has a diverse education history in the field of food and nutrition management. They completed a post-graduate program in Food and Nutrition Management at George Brown College. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with an Honors Specialization in Nutrition and Dietetics at Western University.

In addition to their formal education, Joey has obtained several certifications. They have been certified as a Professional Scrum Master (PSM) by Scrum.org in 2022. They are also a member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management, obtaining their certification in 2014. Furthermore, Joey obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in October 2021.
