Caroline Remer

VP, Language Access at Boostlingo

Caroline Remer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in language access, care management, translation, and teaching. Currently, they work as the Vice President of Language Access at Boostlingo, where they oversee language resources and manages partnerships with language service companies. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Global Language Access at the same company. Caroline has also worked as a Care Manager at Institute on Aging, where they conducted client intake and assessment, referred clients to community resources, and maintained client relationships. In addition, they have experience as a self-employed Spanish Translator/Interpreter, providing translation services for wineries, breweries, and legal proceedings. Caroline has also worked as a Multicultural Coordinator at Whistlestop, coordinating services for Spanish-speaking older adults. Caroline has further contributed as an Immigration Department Assistant at The Canal Alliance, translating client paperwork and providing support for immigrants and asylum seekers. Caroline's career also includes roles as a Language and Culture Ambassador at the Spanish Ministry of Education, an English as a Second Language Teacher at Anita Bossé Language Academy, and an International Student Assistant at Universidad de Deusto. Throughout their work experience, Caroline has demonstrated strong language skills, cultural awareness, and the ability to manage and coordinate resources.

Caroline Remer has an International Masters Degree (M.A.) in Peace, Conflict and Development Studies from Universitat Jaume I, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Arts in International/Global Studies from the University of San Francisco from 2007 to 2011. Caroline also holds additional certifications, including CPR from Whistlestop (Marin Senior Coordinating Council) obtained in 2016, a DELE Spanish Fluency Certificate obtained from DELE in 2010, and an ESL Certification from Oxford Seminars obtained in 2009.
