Alexis-Maurer Fortin

Alexis-Maurer Fortin has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Alexis-Maurer is currently working as a Senior Product Security Engineer at boostsecurity.io since March 2022. Prior to this, they served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a Sergeant from July 2010 onwards. In terms of their professional experience, they worked at Finaptic Technologies Inc. as an Application Security Engineer from October 2020 to March 2022. During this time, they were involved in activities such as threat modeling, designing and reviewing security architectures, and implementing authentication and authorization models for critical financial microservices. Before that, they worked at GoSecure, starting as an Intern in May 2015 and later as a Cyber Security Analyst from September 2016 to October 2020. In these roles, they developed application security consulting services, reviewed security architectures of applications and systems in cloud and on-prem environments, and integrated DevSecOps practices in the software development life cycle.

Alexis-Maurer Fortin pursued their education in a chronological manner. Alexis-Maurer began their educational journey at Collège Jean de la Mennais from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained their Diploma d'Études Secondaires. Following this, they attended Champlain College Saint-Lambert from 2011 to 2013, earning a Diploma of College Studies focused on Pure and Applied Science. Finally, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal from 2014 to 2018.
