Elena Bateman

Elena Bateman is a dedicated research professional currently serving as a Research Intern at the UCLA Advocacy, Resilience, Intersectional, Sexual Empowerment (ARISE) Research Lab since September 2023. Elena has previous experience as a Consulting Intern at Guidehouse, where data analysis and management for client deliverables were key responsibilities. Earlier roles include Market Research Intern at Hypothesis Group, Research Analyst for Dr. Nicky Jackson at Purdue University, and Research Intern positions at Giffords and the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. Elena began their career in customer service at the City of Roseville. Elena is pursuing dual degrees in Statistics and Data Science (BS) and Public Affairs (BA) at UCLA, with an educational background that also includes studies in Madrid.
