Emil Tan

Emil Tan is an accomplished cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in both leadership and operational roles. Currently serving as a Cyber Strategist and Market Lead for Critical Infrastructure at Booz Allen Hamilton since July 2023, Emil collaborates with national-level organizations to develop cyber strategies and drive organizational transformations. As Chief Community Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Red Alpha Cybersecurity, Emil focuses on talent development in the cybersecurity field. Other notable positions include Chair of the Asia Council at CREST, Chairperson and Co-Founder of Cyber Youth Singapore, and leadership roles at IIC Productions and Division Zero. Emil's background includes consulting for the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore and the Infocomm Media Development Authority, alongside academic contributions as an adjunct lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic. Emil holds an MSc in Information Security and a BSc in Computer Science, both from Royal Holloway, University of London, as well as a Diploma in Infocomm Security Management from Singapore Polytechnic.
