David Unkles

David Unkles currently serves as the Head of Origination, Assessment and Credit Operations at BOQ Group since November 2023. Previously, Unkles held various management positions at ME Bank, including Senior Manager Verification & Credit Assessment and Manager of Credit Assessment, where responsibilities included overseeing national credit assessment functions and enhancing customer experience. Unkles has extensive experience in the Suncorp Group, managing regulatory change programs, specialist claims, and customer contact operations across multiple brands. Unkles began a career in the insurance sector at AAMI, focusing on claims assist and sales and service operations. Unkles holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management and Commercial Law from Deakin University.
