J.d. Mowery

J.D. Mowery is an accomplished leader in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as the Division President for Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) at Bora Pharmaceuticals since October 2024. Previously, Mowery held various high-level positions, including President and CEO of KBI Biopharma and Chief Operating Officer at Treadwell Therapeutics, demonstrating expertise in advancing biopharmaceutical development. Mowery has also contributed to organizations like Juno Therapeutics as Executive Director for CAR-T Manufacturing Operations and has extensive experience at AGC Biologics, Lonza, and Genentech. Mowery holds a Bachelor of Science in Project Management from George Fox University and an MBA from Marylhurst University. As a board member of the AST, Mowery actively guides strategic decisions within the aseptic manufacturing space.
