Shane Hamill

Shane Hamill is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in global business development and strategic project management, currently serving as the Director of Global Business Development at Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board since October 2016. With a successful track record in leading teams across 14 international offices and Dublin's Global Hub, Shane has focused on developing premiumisation solutions for the food and drink sectors. Previously, roles included Regional Manager for Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Russia, and Strategic Projects Manager, where Shane advised the CEO on critical issues such as Brexit. Prior experience also includes consulting for the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and contributions to projects at the World Bank. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Sustainability from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Dublin City University.
