Michelle Moriarty

Michelle Moriarty is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in commercial law, particularly in the areas of data protection, competition/anti-trust, business banking, and lobbying law. Currently serving as a Senior Commercial Lawyer at Bord Gáis Energy since March 2023, Michelle previously held positions as a Senior Associate at ByrneWallace LLP and as a Legal Department Specialist at KBC Bank Ireland, where responsibilities included providing legal advice and support to various teams. With a solid foundation in banking law from Matheson and experience as a paralegal and legal executive, Michelle has developed a robust skill set in finance, corporate transactions, and client relations. Education includes an MA in International Studies and a BA in European Studies, both from the University of Limerick, and completion of the Law Society of Ireland program.
