Paul Ward

Paul Ward currently serves as the Manager of the Seafood Development Centre at Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Ireland's Seafood Development Agency, where significant advancements have been made in enhancing the Irish Seafood Sector through innovative product development, processing and packaging technologies, and cost reduction initiatives. Prior to this, Paul held the position of Processing Services Executive, focusing on increasing the sector's competitiveness through lean programs and the Green Seafood Business Programme. Paul’s earlier experience includes serving as a Sea Fisheries Protection Officer at the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority, ensuring compliance with sustainable seafood regulations. Paul’s educational background includes multiple qualifications from the Irish Management Institute, University College Cork, The Open University, and Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, with specializations in leadership, business, environmental science, and marine sciences.
