Sandra Hennessy

Sandra Hennessy is a seasoned professional in the seafood industry with extensive experience at Bord Iascaigh Mhara since 2001. Currently serving as the Green Programme Co-ordinator, Sandra oversees projects aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability for seafood processors. Previous roles include Seafood Quality Officer, where Sandra delivered HACCP and food hygiene training and developed essential food safety systems for compliance. As a microbiologist, Sandra conducted microbiological analyses and managed laboratory quality systems in line with ISO17025 standards. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from University College Dublin and a Master of Science in Food Safety Management from Dublin Institute of Technology.
