Philip Mincey has a solid work history in the maritime industry. Philip started their career in 2009 at G&H Towing as an Engineer Assistant. In this role, they were responsible for the maintenance of equipment, supervision of contractors and shore personnel, as well as hazardous fluid transfer on the vessel. Philip also diagnosed problems and coordinated repairs, and handled administrative duties. In 2012, Philip joined Hornbeck Offshore as a Chief Engineer, a position they held until 2016. Philip then moved on to Moran Towing Corporation in 2017, where they served as a Chief Engineer for five years. Finally, in 2022, Philip started working at Bordelon Marine as a Chief Engineer.
Philip Mincey attended the State University of New York Maritime College from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a degree in Facilities Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. Philip also holds a certification as a 1st Assistant Unlimited from the USCG.
