Sayre Pono is an experienced marine professional currently serving as an Assistant Engineer at Bordelon Marine since August 2021. Prior to this role, Sayre held the position of Deckhand with New York State Marine Highway for a brief period in June to August 2021 and gained valuable experience as a Cadet at Glacier Fish Company/Iquique US from May 2019 to January 2021. Sayre obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Engineering Technology from Maine Maritime Academy, completing the program in 2021.
