Shane Barnes

Shane Barnes is a Partner in the Securities and Capital Markets practice at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG), where employment commenced in June 2017, following roles as an Associate and Student at Law within the same firm. Prior to this, Shane gained experience as a Summer Student at BLG in 2016 and at Pembina Pipeline Corporation in 2015. Additionally, Shane worked in Audit Support for the Alberta Energy Regulator from June 2013 to May 2014. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Calgary, obtained between 2014 and 2017, and a Bachelor's Degree in Law and Society from the same institution, completed in 2013.
