Nem W Schlecht is a seasoned Information Technology professional with extensive experience spanning several roles in IT management, systems administration, and applications development. Currently serving as Information Technology Engineering Manager at Border States since June 2015, Nem oversees network and system administration teams, leading strategic projects towards a Cloud-first infrastructure while managing vendor relationships and budget planning. Previous roles include supervising IT applications at Border States, consulting and ownership at Empyreal Technologies, and various positions in educational and corporate settings dedicated to IT program coordination, application development, and database administration. Nem holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from North Dakota State University, complementing a robust technical skill set with effective personnel and project management capabilities.
