He Zhao

He Zhao is a Machine Learning Researcher at Borealis AI since September 2022, following a five-year tenure as a Research Assistant at York University, where the focus was on obtaining a Doctorate in Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Previous experience includes a Research Intern role at Samsung Electronics America and a software engineering position at Deepinformatics++ in China, concentrating on deep-learning-based image processing for a pathology viewing platform. Additionally, He Zhao contributed to deep learning research at the BICI2 LAB in the University of Florida and served as a Software Developer for the Florida Automated Weather Network, specializing in web development and database interaction. He Zhao holds a PhD in Computer Science from York University, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Zhengzhou University.
