Mostafa Farahani

Mostafa Farahani is a seasoned professional in the field of software and machine learning engineering, currently serving as the Machine Learning Engineering Lead at Borealis AI since September 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Avigilon from May 2016 to September 2021 and as a Software Engineer at Wenco International Mining Systems between September 2014 and January 2016. Mostafa's career began with academic positions as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at both The University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria. Educationally, Mostafa holds a Master of Applied Science (M.A.Sc.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (2003-2007).
