Harald Herbst

Harald Herbst has extensive experience in the field of digital innovation and simulation, currently serving as the Head of Digital Innovation and previously as Modelling & Simulation Manager at Borealis since November 2009. Prior positions at Borealis include Application Development and Simulation Manager and Technical Service and Simulation Manager in the automotive sector. Earlier in their career, Harald Herbst worked as a Simulation Engineer in Advanced Packaging at PCD Polymere from 1994 to 1998. Educationally, Harald Herbst holds a Dr.Mont in Plastics Engineering, specializing in Composite Micromechanics, from Montanuniversität Leoben, alongside a Management Training for Leaders certification from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems and a Dipl.Ing in Plastics Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben. Additional academic advancement was achieved at RTWH Aachen in 2019.
