Roodhooft Philippe

Roodhooft Philippe has over 30 years of work experience in the chemical industry. Roodhooft has held various leadership roles in companies such as Borealis, Borouge, Neste, and SNC-Lavalin.

At Borealis, Roodhooft served as the Executive Vice President Joint Ventures and Growth Projects, where they were responsible for the performance and development of joint ventures and major build projects globally. Roodhooft was also a member of the Borealis Executive Board, overseeing the company's overall strategy.

Prior to that, Roodhooft was the Chief Operations Officer at Borouge, where they were in charge of the entire operations of their Al Ruwais complex, including ethane crackers and polyolefin plants.

At Borealis, Roodhooft held several key positions, including Senior Vice President Supply Chain & Product Management, Senior Vice President Operations, General Manager, Planning Manager, and Location Leader. Roodhooft was responsible for supply chain management, product management, manufacturing operations, and overall performance improvement at various Borealis locations.

Before joining Borealis, Roodhooft worked at Neste, where they held the role of Engineering Manager, overseeing the engineering team and major projects.

Roodhooft started their career as an Automation Engineer at SNC-Lavalin, where they gained experience in automation and instrumentation.

Roodhooft Philippe completed their Master's in Applied Sciences with a specialization in Electro Mechanical & Production Management from KU Leuven during the period of 1981-1987.
