Joseph F. Fadool

President & GM, Emissions, Thermal and Turbo Systems at BorgWarner

Joseph F. Fadool was named President of BorgWarner Turbo Systems in May 2019. In this role Fadool oversees BorgWarner’s global Turbo Systems business. Prior to this role Fadool also held top positions in other BorgWarner businesses including President and General Manager of Emissions and Thermal Systems, Morse Systems and TorqTransfer Systems.

Prior to joining BorgWarner in 2010, Joe worked at Continental Automotive Systems as Vice President for North American Electronic Operations. He

previously held various positions with increasing responsibility at Continental and Siemens VDO Automotive including general management, operations, sales, and program management.

Prior to joining Continental, Joe spent seven years with Ford Motor Co., where he was involved in project management, product development, and the launches of several major vehicles, including the Mustang and Taurus programs. Fadool earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan, in 1989 and received his Master of Science degree in computer and electronic controls from Wayne State University in Detroit in 1993. He is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
