Gladys Lapierre, MD, IMG, FEP, MPH, DNP, PPCNP-BC, currently serves as a Pediatric Health Practitioner at Borinquen Health Care Center since April 2018, providing comprehensive care and serving as a key problem-solving resource for staff. Prior experience includes roles at Memorial Healthcare System, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the World Health Organization, where Gladys focused on polio eradication and immunization efforts. Earlier positions involved coordinating TB/HIV-AIDS-Malaria programs and participating in public health strategy development. Education includes ongoing postgraduate studies in Psychiatric/Mental Health at Florida State University and a Doctor’s degree from Grand Canyon University, complemented by combined Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Florida International University.
