Yuanzhong Ou has a diverse work experience in risk and analytics. Yuanzhong started their career at Johns Hopkins University as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, where they worked on data mining and data science projects. Yuanzhong then joined Kora in 2016 and held various roles, including Data Scientist & Risk Associate, Analytics Manager, Director of Risk & Analytics, Cofounder, and currently serves as the Head of Risk & Analytics. At Kora, Yuanzhong has been responsible for developing and managing proprietary risk engines, leading the development of AI engines for virtual card programs, and spearheading company-level analytics infrastructures. Yuanzhong has also managed the loan portfolio, including model governance, loss forecasting, allowances estimation, stress testing, and vintage analysis.
