Everett TiJa Butcher has extensive experience in advocacy, education, and community engagement. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Advisors for the National Special Education Advocacy Institute since June 2020 and as a member of the West Chester Borough Historic Commission since December 2019, Butcher also holds the title of Board Certified Educational Advocate at NSEAI since 2016. As the Executive Coordinator Director/CEO of the Concerned Citizen Melanic Caucus since 2009 and Executive Parent Advocate Coordinator/CEO for the Parent Advocates Network for Special Needs since 2005, Butcher focuses on supporting underrepresented communities. Previous roles include leadership positions within the NAACP Pennsylvania State Conference, hosting a community talk show, and serving as a Senior Non Commissioned Officer in the United States Army for over two decades. Education includes ongoing studies at West Chester University and attendance at Eastern University.
