Karla Mothe

Karla Mothe has extensive work experience in human resources and management roles. Karla started their career in 2001 as an Administrative/Communication Coordinator at National Oilwell Varco. Karla then worked as an HR Regional Supervisor at ValleyCrest Companies from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Future Glass & Mirror, Inc. as a Branch Office Manager until 2008. From 2011 to 2013, they served as an Accelerated Development Program & Succession Planning Coordinator at Valaris Limited. Karla joined Ocean Rig in 2014, where they held various positions including Succession Planning & Talent Management Advisor, HR Development Manager, and Global HR Manager. In 2017, they joined Borr Drilling as a Group Human Resources Manager, and subsequently worked as a Group Human Resources Director and VP of Human Resources (Interim). Currently, they hold the role of VP of Human Resources at Borr Drilling and is expected to become the Senior VP of Human Resources in 2023.

Karla Mothe received a Bachelor's degree in Social Communications (Media Studies) from Faculdade Católica Salesiana in 2012. Karla then pursued a Master's degree in Leadership & Management Development with Human Resources Management at Canterbury Christ Church University from 2014 to 2018. In 2007, Karla completed Continued Education programs in Human Resources Generalist from Palm Beach State College. Karla also obtained various certifications including Relative Emergency Management in 2016, Strategy Performance Management & Rewards from the University of Michigan in 2013, and Competency Recruitment & Selection from Integração Escola de Negócios in 2013, among others.
