Martin Lersch

Chief Technology Officer Business Development And Biovanillin at Borregaard

Martin Lersch has a background in organic chemistry and is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Borregaard. Martin oversees business development and biovanillin, as well as manages the Biorefinery demonstration plant and related R&D activities. Martin has experience in analytical chemistry and previously worked as a research scientist. In addition to their role at Borregaard, Martin is also a board member at Kaffe Bueno and Stiftelsen PFI, and owner of Khymos where Martin lectures and blogs about food science and modernist cuisine. Martin was also a member of the Program Board for BIOTEK2021 at The Research Council of Norway. Martin holds a PhD in Organometallic chemistry from the University of Oslo.
